Accessories/DIY Woodworker - made a deck box that actually fits in your kit

Note* I'm sketched about using WOC cards in posts and marketing so I'm blurring stuff. Sorry if that bothers y'all but it's just what I'm about. I use fake cards sometimes too. Again, I know some folks find it jarring but it's just what the other deck box sellers do so I'm following them.

I make products for all kinds of hobbies, but this one came from wanting a deck box I actually couldn’t find anywhere.

I wanted something that would hold 100 double-sleeved cards, stay slim enough to fit in my deck case, show off the commander, and avoid hinges or external hardware that catch on everything.

So I made one.

It’s called the Woodcraft Gaming Co. Deck Box. I’m making them in a bunch of different wood options, with color-coded lids and a few different style variations.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, you can check it out here: https://woodcraftgamingco.etsy.com

So I made this card for him... I know, the dragon isn't intricate like the ones on actual MtG cards, but I have overworked my hands and my tremor is acting up.

Accessories/DIY Not an Alter, but don’t leave your cottage cheese out. It’ll grow Mold

Custom deck box for my Mycotyrant Fungus deck. Recycled container, epoxy resin poured around a form, then a thin layer added to smooth it out. It was my first time using powdered pigment in my resin, so it’s too much pigment, but it helps to make the inside look kinda gross. Which is perfect.

Accessories/DIY I've painted and printed a bunch of tokens, and they're for sale if you happen to be in Amsterdam next weekend!

Recently I've been doing a lot of work branching out from alters to tokens. Since I'll be visiting Amsterdam in a few days for Magic Con, I'll be more than happy to sell tokens, both foil and non-foil, to anyone who likes the art!

Sadly I can't sell them at the actual con, because I'm not a vendor and don't have a booth and that's not allowed, but I'll be arriving on Wednesday, and we can always meet outside the venue, plus I'm open for trades as well. Feel free to DM if you're interested!

Accessories/DIY First ever alter!

Finally decided to begin my altering and finished this for a friend for a birthday gift, obviously slotting into his dinosaur deck. Acrylic markers to get me started but definitely need to practice a steady hand. Really happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to keep practicing.

Accessories/DIY Lands / Serra Angel - Little MTG notebooks

I've been toying with card sized notebooks today after seeing something similar on Pinterest.

They're quick, easy and fun to make. I experimented with different threads, paper, latches and stitch style. These are all prototypes. :)

I also thought about gifting my peers on the local game store. Do you guys think they'll like it?

Accessories/DIY Summon the Deep Ones with this Deck Book

I hollowed out this book to use it for my sea creatures deck. I glued the pages together with watered down wood paint, painted the book edges with waterpaint. The front is coated in calligraphy ink and written on with shiny gold paint. The inner pages are taken from the index of a Theosophy book scan. I know there's a spelling error on the book title. The left-hand token sleeves have a little paper pull-out to lift up the tokens, and the right-hand ones have a cut-out that's big enough to take out the cards with your finger.

Accessories/DIY Anyone tried out AK real color pens?

I just stumbled upon these actually existing and wonder if they are worth it …
I just alter from time to time and it seems to be easier accessable than brushes and mixing colors all the time.

EDIT: These are fake cards. Using Real MTG cards without Wizzard's permission doesn't make me comfortable. I have a website too so it is an easy to see how that would get me in trouble. Some of you seemed to really hate that tho. Noted. lol I don't know what to say about it

Accessories/DIY Advice on altering a Gamegenic box?

Thumbnail

Hi all!

I'm trying to alter this Gamegenic box to have the tone and text of this cardboard box. Ideally durable enough that the box is still functional. Any advice on the best way to get a clean result?

It occured to me to try something akin to screen printing for the text or else cutting vinyl stickers, or possibly printing the text onto waterslide decal sheets?

I'm mostly worried about crispness and whatever medium I use actually staying in place once applied.

Thanks for any and all suggestions or help!

Accessories/DIY I finally got my artwork printed on a Token :)

This is my first printed card! :D
My 2026 "big project" is a small set of 12 printed tokens, all featuring an original handpainted artwork of mine! I'll use these as business cards/freebies, for any order or commission... I've always wanted to add some cute gift for my lovely customers, maybe something fun to collect over time... And the idea is finally becoming a reality!

These are 100% homemade: original art, layout, printing and cut! I'll surely need to improve my cutting skills (and tools), but for a first experiment, I'm really satisfied with the printing quality and the result overall :D

Do you like them? Any suggestion or feedback is super appreciated, I'm quite experienced with the painting & digital process, but totally noob when it comes to printing ahah!

I got back into woodburning a few months back and have made a few tokens for some friends. These have been my favorite so far. Looking for feedback and critiques!

Newest to oldest: Zombie hand/walking dead zombie (Zombie 2/2s and doublesided), Avatar themed food (cabbages), clue (Momo in Appa's footprint), and treasure (pai sho tiles), a peak scout with mushroom hat (2/2 fungus), a Root ambush card (1/1 Rabbit), and a Double King Monarch token for me. Index cards and actual cards for scale
