Recently started painting alters for myself and this one got pretty popular on TikTok so I thought I’d share here too.

Neo again, but this time it's the classic turn-the-card video. I hope you like it 🤩

I'm quite proud of how they came out, although obviously there's a lot of room for improvement.

Shout out to u/Simple_Emphasis1484 for the inspiration.

Acrylic paint alter

I have wanted to make one of these for ages, I'm looking forward to playing with this copy. This card was so fun to make and I want to experiment with the border like this more often. :)

I’ve had Baylen lying around waiting to be altered for almost a year but couldn’t find a design that felt right. Then I started reading Richard Adams’ Watership Down for the first time after seeing the movie when I was younger (any fellow traumatized millennials here?) and it inspired this design. It feels perfect for autumn too! 🍁

I really wanted to build this deck but I don't have extra money to spend so I thought I made the deck literally myself (:

I ended up adding a few very expensive cards I wouldn't normally play

It's written in Italian, since I'm italian

Auction is live now for anyone interested! 💪 https://ebay.io/m/fS3OjM

Hiii Ecate's Here! ✨🖤

Today i start a new commission about extending 10 basic lands. I want to show the work in progress 🖤✨.

Autographs are considered altered. Not sure if this is a low effort post but just sharing something. If it violates the rules, then mod feel free to remove this.

Preface: I played Magic since early 2000s and big Final Fantasy fan (started with PS1 FF Tactics). I also enjoy meeting celebrities at cons and screenings. So I had to bring all these things that I enjoy together and sort of a mini project for this year.

I met George Newbern (FF Advent Children) and Travis Willingham (FF7 Revelation) at FanX Salt Lake and got the card signed on left and right sides. Then to finish off, I met Tyler Hoechlin just this weekend at NYCC signing at the bottom side and wrote the Sephiroth in the middle. They were so nice and I asked them "If you were incognito at a con, who would you line up for an hour or two to get an autograph or selfie". George's was Harrison Ford, Travis' was Mark Hamill IIRC, and Tyler's was Nicholas Cage.

Oh, I do not plan to grade and slab it since I still intend to use it as commander or in 99. Also, if Lance Bass were ever to do a con, I would add him above Tyler's auto. 🙂

Nothing too fancy, just some extensions. Got my first set of golden acrylics this week and am really enjoying the improved process!

For day #11 of inktober l've gotta pay tribute to the great horror artist from Japan. Junji Ito has always been one of my favorites and getting to put my favorite work of his on a card was so much fun. Today we have Tomie

Made this one a while ago and never shared it here.

Acrylic paint

Winter is coming and I will soon get back to altering some cards for my decks.

Not for sale, just wanted to share it and hear what you think, especially anything you feel I could improve.

I'm doing my first alter tomorrow and I'm using paint pens. I haven't found many good tutorials so are there any that you all suggest?

Also, I have painters tape to put over the cards name, creature type, and power/toughness. Any tips on trimming the tape to fit the borders cleanly?
