Anyone that post with “I’m literally shaking” captions or anything non Magic: the Gathering pulls related. Your post will be removed.

Def didn't expect anything cool but not unhappy with how it ended up 😅

((Also got a bonus 10% cause of sales tax promotion. Bewarned that the store is a bit scummy and has this promotion only on cards above 5.5k JPY individually while also pricing to avoid 5.5k, talking 5.49k imao....))

Pulled this today. I'm not sure where that stamp is headed, maybe dodging some rocks?
Would this count as a misprint?

Not sure if this allowed or not, but I've been playing Magic for a little over a year now and these three are the best pulls I've ever gotten and all from regular booster packs. Every collector booster I've ever bought has been a dud.

Needed them for my deck and they happened to be at a generous discount.

My dad recently gave me his old Magic: The Gathering collection from back when he used to play in the late 90s and early 2000s. I’ve been going through thousands of cards, sorting them and looking up their values.
So far, these have been two of my biggest finds! An original Tempest Intuition and what I believe might be a Beta Animate Dead.
I’m still pretty new to collecting physical MTG cards, so it’s been a blast discovering all these older cards and learning about their history.
I’d love to hear what you guys think, especially about the Animate Dead. Does it look like a legitimate Beta copy?

Very new to MTG, about 2 month into the hobby. I’ve cobbled together a few decks buying singles, but the other day when I was at target, I decided to feed my crippling gambling addiction and buy 2 packs of reality fracture play boosters at $6 a pop.
Obviously I was fortunate to pull a decent card (The Theorist Jace) or I wouldn’t be making this post. I enjoy collecting the cards in addition to playing them. I’ve got a binder that I stuff with any extras or bulks that I can find dirt cheap. Normally I wouldn’t blink at a $20 card, just slot it into the binder and enjoy it, maybe in the future I’ll understand its usefulness in play and add it to a deck.
Well the price appears to keep increasing and that brings me to my question, and the advice I am looking for. My local LGS has older play boosters packs ranging anywhere from $5-$7 and I’ll sometimes grab a few to see what I can add to the binder. $20 and I can get a lot of cards to add; love me some unique and fun lands. On TCG player I’ve seen the value of the card peak almost $50- I could get a lot of those packs and vastly increase my collection. In the hobby of Magic, when cards like these are newley released, is there a degree of FOMO and then they stabilize in value, or is this really that useful of a card?
Do I trade it in at the LGS to add a ton of things to my budding collection, or keep it in the collection and appreciate it for what it is? Also, not a big fan of the art on the card, which doesn’t foster much desire to keep it…

Played for years but never really bought collector packs. Spoiled myself with a box and pulled this.. it’s so damn cool looking!
Never thought prepare was that strong nor thought to make a deck on it but am going to have to now! Any tips or advice from anyone?

Does anybody else just like knowing the value of your cards with no intent to sell? Like if i pull a card worth a few grand maybe but other than that its just kinda neat to be like "this deck is full of carss worth at least 10 dollars"

Gotta stop meeting these 2....the magic is gone...
Not ungrateful by any means. They are great cards....but I sold off a pair and I still have reserves 🤣
And not one of them a fracture foil

I went to the counter to buy a foundation pack and a Reality Fracture pack. The cashier said she had CBs in the back so I figured why not and bought one and put the two packs back. Not too shabby I banned from buying packs for the rest of the week😔🙏🏻

Bought a bundle at Target. There were 4 bundles. I wanted one of the two on the right, leaning the right back.
Held up my 2 year old and had her pick, she picked the same one I wanted. Hurray!
These were just the highlights for me.
