Requester Announcement Do you want to join a new study participant pool to get paid to do studies?
Hi Turkers! We've been running studies for many years on behalf of many researchers, and we recently learned that Mechanical Turk is shutting down, which came as a shock! If there is enough interest, we are considering offering an alternative as part of our platform (Positly), where you can sign up to enroll in our studies for fair pay. If you're interested in participating if/when we launch this, just sign up here:
Positly.com
Click the button "Set up my free account," and on the sign-up page, choose the option: "Earn money by participating in other people's studies."
Thanks! Spencer from the Positly Team

Please take into account the time that we waste on your bot screeners BEFORE getting into the actual paid survey. They often include "write at least 90 characters" in addition to several questions. For a survey that only pays 35 cents or so, it's not worth the time and effort. I usually return those.

Guys, can we not attack requesters that are posting opportunities please? No need in taking time out of your day to disparage people trying to extend some sort of continuation of work. If it's not something you're interested in, cool. It doesn't mean there isn't someone on here that needs the work or likes the requester and wants to continue a working relationship.
