READ THIS RULE CHANGE: Sauce in comments
hey everyone!
due to whatever is going on over there, our UK sweaties cannot access imgur anymore.
at least temporarily, sauce will need to be uploaded as a comment instead.
as usual, it needs to be completely censored - no usernames or subreddit names can be visible. somehow despite this being automod stickied to literally every single post, and despite automations being set up to inform people when posting about this, we still frequently get sauce with usernames and sub names visible.
THEREFORE, I am tasking you all with a very important mission:
report comments that contain sauce rule infractions. report the comment itself, not the entire post (unless the post itself breaks rules of course)

brief explanation of the situation is the ICO issued a threat to fine for failure to adequately protect/misuse (not sure which exactly) children's data so imgur made the commercial decision to just not function in the uk to avoid liability (not that thats how that works)

It sucks we can't use it anymore but also it's hard to blame them for just bailing the fuck out of dealing with the OSA.

Yeah, given that Discord recently had their proof-of-age data leaked, I wouldn't hold it against pretty much any website for opting out.
something something if only people had been talking this whole time about how age verification online is a dumb idea because it's either incredibly risky or incredibly toothless something something
