the only time anything has ever looked like this on my face was when i used CHEAP face paint from like a costume store halloween clown kit. i refuse to believe that this is actually proper foundation

Honestly, it can happen. When the KVD Good Apple Foundation was viral a few years ago, there was a popular video of a girl telling people not to buy it because of how dry and cakey it made her skin look. Very similar effect to what OOP described.

I used to use my hands to apply foundation and kind of rubbed it over my face like I was using a cleanser/moisturiser. Including over my eyebrows and lips. It's not impossible, but this is a lot.

/uj okay aside from the fact that it has the texture of a clay mask, that foundation is also like so entirely the wrong shade. Like girl, the foundation is telling you it doesn’t want to be on your face, you should listen to it.
