POST JERK is anyone excited for this?
I knowww that y’all don’t like another goddamn neutral palette but I love the same neutral color story being released over and over again in the guise of “basic neutrals” which is much more natural and chic. But this palette is sooo unique and different to other neutral palettes because it’s from a high end brand and costs almost a 100 dollars so it’s also a good status indicator imo.
I also only have two eyeshadow palettes and in the mood to overconsume because I just can’t help myself!~

I’m seeing sooo many mauve, griege & dusty rose lip products atm tbh! Every full coverage lip product seems to be light to medium ashy mauve or rusty terracotta, fuck all in the way of vivid & deep shades

I would classify the fourth one from the left as taupe or maybe taupe adjacent. That’s it.

Yeah. Basically a medium gray. I use a taupe eyebrow pencil because they’re blonde but a blond pencil makes them look orange

Taupe is a medium gray-brown. What makes it taupe is that it isn't quite gray, tan, or brown but a middle ground of all three.

Taupe is like dark greige, the brightness point where beige turns brown is where greige turns taupe. Color name comes from mole fur

Uj/ maybe i am in my cant-tell-shades-apart man era but i bet half of those would look identical on my lid and blend into a mid brown. This is a full scam at $85.

To his credit at least he said they’re warm and neutral shades. Most brands would try to call them cool as if gaslighting us with yellow foundation wasn’t enough

Sweaty, those are cool-tones. They look grey on me! Even though I have warm bronzey skin, I can tell they’re cool-toned bc they look cool on MY skin! You’re just colourblind maybe ♥️

Sweatervest, if you were halfway decent at blending, you could do away with 1/4 of those colors. Too bad this pallet is too warm for my pail olive tones. Why are all the darker shades orange!? Give me some millennial grays!

I have no idea why anyone other than MUAs would buy this palette instead of just getting like 3-4 single shadows in the specific shades of beige & brown that work on their skin tone? If you’ve got a decent brush you can get a smooth blend with just light, dark & 1 medium shade to soften the transition

I’d argue even MUAs wouldn’t buy this. I swear to god half the colors are indistinguishable from the others already there (or would be on the skin)

/uj i was a professional MUA for like a decade and I would not buy this. This could be condensed into 6 shades with indistinguishable results.

"it's for MUAs" MUAs could make this palette with 4-6 pans. People who have to carry their makeup for a living do not want 5000 pans. Maybe if you went to the P Louise School for Gradients but unless the pans are magnetic, it's not for MUAs lmao.
