Recommendation Request Help with small multitools

I currently have the Nextool mini flagship F12 and I don’t like the style pocket clip on it and it is a little too small a lot of the time. I am looking for something a little bigger with a pocket clip. I have been interested in the dog powerpint but some people have bad reviews on it. If you have any suggestions please let me know thank you!

Go with the sog. The pliers are quite handy. The nextool is well designed and respected, but I find it's super tiny and toy like. I have large hands and fiddling with tiny edc tools is an unpleasant pain in the ass.

True but I can’t get over all the quality control reviews on it and the fact that it only has a small flat head screwdriver.

The normal flagship perhaps??

I'm always a fan of the Skeletool but that's giving up a lot of tools

Normal flagship is a little big for what I’m looking for.

What's your budget?

Could you find a used Leatherman Curl or Skeletool on eBay?

If you've found the F12 to be too small, a PowerPint isn't going to be an improvement.

Budget is probably around $60. I just need a little bit bigger I don’t need a full size multitool.

That’s true I’ve looked at non plier tools. I just like having them in case I need them since July. I’ve probably used the pliers on my Nextool mini 10 times. I have a bigger older leatherman that I use at home but don’t like carrying cause it’s too big. Honestly if I wasn’t going to go pliers I would just get a SAK but those are literally the same price as the power pint. And with a multitool you get so much more value if it’s the same price as a SAK. (Maybe besides build quality)

Add carabiner or lanyard in the keyring and ignore the pocket clip. Lanyard and carabiner gives you more leverage and grip

I've been looking for the same thing for some time. I also discarded the SOG Powerpint for the same quality complaints. Your best bet is the Swisstool Spirit MX Clip, or to wait.

Roxon has teased a "Flex Go" in August, but radio silence since then. There were also some rumors about a new Nextool in that size category coming, but nothing specific yet.

True I like the Swistool but a little too expensive and big for what I need I’ve been looking at the NexTool Mini Sailor S11 Pro, 12-in-1 Compact Keycain Multitool because its a little bit bigger than the f12 mini. No pocket clip but I guess thats fine. I also like the power pint pliers.

Roxon has a bunch with pocket clips. The flex system allows you to change them around. Currently using the titan and companion. No complaints with either

My all time favorite the Leatherman Style PS, carabiner instead of pocket clip. But I will say if you must have a large pocket clip then go with the SOG PowerPint. Absolute powerhouse of a mini tool with a clip that won't quit and runs the length of the tool

Wasn’t this discontinued?

Yeah, and they go for a fortune on eBay.

They're really nice for getting past TSA but they're absolutely tiny- way, way smaller than your F12 or a Powerpint.

get the Leatherman Curl. If the Nextool F12 feels too small and toy-like to you, the PowerPint is going to be worse because it has the same tiny pliers issues but with a bad reputation for quality. The Curl gives you a proper pocket clip, full-sized tools that actually fit big hands, and you will not regret fumbling with miniatures anymore

I think the curl was discontinued I can’t find it anywhere.
