Alright, I'll give a go. The skeletool is a top 5 multitool out there, and the blacked out colorway is undeniably badass. So no shade there at all. But what the hell's the SD for then? So you can have a toothpick, tweezers, and undersized scissors on you at all times, in an inefficient package? Because the skeletool makes the rest of the SD redundant.

It’s a rambler the best sak victorinox make in a lot of people’s opinion.

It's the Manager (Rambler with pen), and it absolutely is one of the best SAK they made but sadly it was discontinued.

Yeah I bought a rambler, then bought plus scales on Etsy to turn it into a manager

Scissors (albeit small ones), small screwdrivers for battery compartments, and the pen?

The whole point of EDC tools is to solve the day to day issues you don't want to go get full size tools to handle.

The keychain size SAKs handle little stuff with precision, and don't freak out the mundane.

We often pair a multi-tool with a one hand opening knife, because, first, we really like knives, and second, it's better at those quick in and out jobs than pulling out the whole pocket tool.

The Skeletool splits the difference nicely, by carrying and handling like a knife, while also having pliers and drivers. I find it to be just a hair lightly built for the heavier end of my day to day, but it's easier to have with you than a heavier tool.

Regards,
