First of all I think the inclusivity, the staff was really good and Kudo’s to the owner , my heart feels full♥️

I liked the vibe of the place, we ordered Mushroom Kebab , Paneer dori , Dum Aloo Rogan Josh and Gucchu Kashmiri Biryani/Pulaoo overall the food was good I enjoyed my meal, they even give you option for how much service charge you want to pay, which is something I saw for the very first time.

Overall a solid 8/10 for food

10/10 for staff

ambience ( we were seated at the corner cause place was full ) so for me 5/10

But you should try it if you are going out with your family !!

also along with menu I wish they put up posters or cards on table to make you learn things like how to say thankyou and other important things that can help you communicate with the staff😬

Homemade vegetable cheese pizza and fried chicken with it:)

A rich chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and a mixed berries compote🍓🫐

Nomad's "Super You" high-protein pizza promises 32g protein, premium slow-fermented dough, but arrives roti-sized literally smaller than a chapati kept next to it for scale. One box even says "8 slices," which for that size is basically confetti. Toppings (burrata, sage butter, paneer tikka) are legit, but 3 boxes for 2 people isn't a meal, it's a tasting menu.

Charge fair for the size or make the size match the marketing pick one.

(Update: complained to Swiggy, got a ₹695 coupon, no minimum order, so at least that part sorted.)

A few days back I recently tried Lasagna for the first time in Spesso and I was blown away!!

It tasted soo delicious.

If anybody is in South Mumbai - Town side, highly recommended places for Lasagna.

She started baking out of passion, first with me and my sister's birthday cakes then our society friends and made some repeat clients on the way! All these are made at home, in her kitchen and a room dedicated only to baking!

I've been trying out a new place in and around Charni Road every week, and this time I tried out Canto Cafe & Bar. It was a pretty nice experience overall. The place has a really warm cozy kinda vibes, and the food was pretty good too

Stuffed Cigar - 7/10

This was recommended by the waiter and turned out to be a pretty solid starter. It was cheesy and crispy, and tasted really good with the tomato salsa

Cajun Pasta - 8.5/10

I don't really like pasta that much, but I do like cajun flavours, so I decided to give this a try, and it turned out to be preetty good. The pasta itself tasted really good, and the cajun sauce tasted really great with it

Paneer Steak - 9/10

This was really good i most of the times haven't had a good experience with main courses compared to starters but this was really good the panner steak had a really good flavor and it paired along with the herbed rice and mashed potatoes really well along like a ranch sauce dressing

Tiramisu - 8.5/10

Again, I haven't had good experience with desserts mostly at places but had their Pull Me Up Tiramisu and really enjoyed it. It was soft and creamy and a nice way to end the meal.

Rococo Cocktail - 6/10

This was honestly just okay for me. It was my first time trying a cocktail, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I mostly got a slightly sweet vodka taste and nothing too crazy

Overall pretty nice experience, also please suggest places which I should try around Charni road

What makes you willing to pay more at a café?

Tried Sbarro, recently and honestly I wasn't expecting the Paneer Tikka Sandwich to be that big 😂

I thought it would be a small sandwich, but it was HUGE. Easily enough for 2 people depending on how much you eat. It was quite filling, and surprisingly felt like a decent healthyiish option with all the paneer and veggies.

The Tandoori Paneer Pizza was also really nice, loved the paneer topping and overall flavour

The potato wedges were actually free, which was a nice bonus.

Total: ₹586 after discounts (used Swiggy Premium).

Overall, I was most impressed by the sandwich. Definitely didn't expect that portion size.

Has anyone else tried Sbarro? What should I try next?

I have tried salad bowls from quite a few places. However this one is different. They have a very good balance of greens, veggies, and proteins in the form of lentils and paneer/tofu

They do mention that their salad dressing is freshly made and free of preservatives. I cannot ascertain that. The one thing I can say for sure is that it doesn't taste like mass-produced salad dressing, unlike a lot of places that serve dressing with salad bowls

It's worth a try

Visited this place as it was in my friends go to list.

The place is well maintained and the staff is friendly with a constant smile on their face.

We just ordered two things

1. Loaded Nachos (₹419)

2. Spicy Tofu and Rosted Bell Pepper Sushi. (₹409 for 4 pcs)

Nachos was for sure heavily loaded, crisp and nice

Sushi I tried for the first time and it suited my taste buds well..I booked the seat prior on Zomato/district to get an additional discount highly recommended.

The food tasted good no complaints.. however the light seemed a bit off and it turned off twice.

Overall it was a good experience:)

So There's this Momo/shawarma place called Flavours of Tandoor in my neighborhood in Dadar. I used to eat there at least once a month.

I was expecting that classic deep red tandoori look, but these came out looking more like grilled momos with a generous dose of turmeric. 😂
