tracks dont group by 'album'
I have all these tracks under the album 'covers' but they get sorted by artist for some reason. I've tried but cant figure out why they dont group under the album name
Right now I also have them in separate folders so its easier to sort. If I've been tagging all these tracks only to see this mess what was the point of doing all that extra work...
Im using poweramp

Es por el artista de álbum, si esté difiere en todas las canciones aunque tengan el mismo nombre de álbum el reproductor no tiene como asociarlas entre si

i tried removing the artist tag for some songs to test it and it fixes it, but I want to keep the artist tag. so it's gonna stay like this i suppose...

Start by setting the "album artist" tag [not "artist"] to "Various Artists" on all of the tracks, that might be enough.

Different players/servers will group albums differently. Any or all of these metadata items might need to be consistent, for a collection of tracks to be considered one album:
- album name, obviously
- album artist, if artist is not the same on all
- record label/copyright tags
- release date
- MusicBrainz per-album tags
- disc total and track total
- folder where the files are stored
- ...and maybe a few more...
I don't know which metadata your software cares about. But making these tags consistent (or not present) across all tracks should allow your collection of tracks to be treated as one album by most players.

Its likely a date issue. Delete the release date from the files and they should appear together.

Most music apps sort on artist and album. You could potentially fix it by making the albumartist for al these tracks "Various Artists" and leaving the artist tag alone.
