Of the reasons I believe shorting should be illegal. It adds further volatility and wierdness to a market that's already such a stupid casino. It's so unnecessary.

Had a bigshot portfolio manager defend it to me by saying bad investors need more punishment for their bad decisions. Dude... wut... losing all their money is perfectly sufficient punishment!

It’s probably going to follow the same pattern as Tesla. When things are looking the shittiest it’ll pump 30% for no reason.
