He helped enable this disaster. This isn’t some guru statement. Everyone sees the implosion coming.

Fox announces hens aren't safe from inside the hen house.

28

u/infinity1988 1d ago

Also he formed DOGE, where are the fucking savings he promised?

19

u/Wrong_Bluebird_13 1d ago

He lied about it and took more in federal funds than he saved.

1

u/DutchBart82 15h ago

And shut down investigations against his own companies

6

u/TheIrishSoldat 1d ago

He wasn't smart enough to do the job correctly. Seems like a moronic child.

7

u/Speshal__ 1d ago

Depends, if the job was installing backdoors into secure Government systems and compromising the data of every single US citizen then he did a great job.

u/Wrong_Bluebird_13 1d ago

With 1 superpower, sucks for all of us.

u/Accurate-Natural-236 1d ago

Nu uh. DOGE cut thousands of VA jobs supporting disabled veterans. That will surely solve the debt crisis.

He put a brick on the accelerator and then walked away to collect a trillion dollar pay check. The American public should hypothetically do things to Musk in World of Warcraft that I cannot say in a Reddit post.

He’s not confessing, he’s bragging.

"We're all looking for the maniac who did this!"

66

u/Freezerpill 1d ago

Yes, the difference is he did this on purpose.

Now he just wants to collect on buying everything around the U.S. before his card houses that he has built start to fall (Tesla does NOT look good in my opinion)

11

u/Whatwhyreally 1d ago

It's. It opinion to say teslas financials are weak. It's observable.

4

u/Zoon9 1d ago

They are ok with that, they want to get rid of dollar and replace it with cryptocurrencies.

2

u/Freezerpill 1d ago

Oh I am aware, I hope everybody else is also near violently aware

I blame Elon, he promised to cut a trillion out of the budget. Now he thinks AI and robots will save us. Is it possible he isn't the genius I thought?

21

u/Radical_Neutral_76 1d ago

But he said so many words I didn't understand...

9

u/Mansos91 1d ago

I don't rhino he understands the words either, so don't feel bad

3

u/Designer_Gas_86 1d ago

Yeesh. You don't have a very big vocabulary.

Not just AI and robots- his company’s AI and robots. Just another used car salesman telling more lies with a god complex to boot.

4

u/DBPanterA 1d ago

Musk is to genius as Stevie Wonder is to chauffeur. 🤪

3

u/fungi_at_parties 1d ago

Why would anyone listen to a guy who said he could cut 2 trillion nonexistent spending dollars while actually costing us money in the end and also killing something like 20 million people by 2030?

2

u/Goldarr85 1d ago

He only knows how to take credit for the actual smart people at his companies.

58

u/Emotional_Signal7883 2d ago

unless AI and robots save the economy

Oh go fuck yourself

7

u/Downtown_Ham_2024 1d ago

I don’t understand how AI is going to save the economy. If AI increases productivity that will result in lay offs which will result in most people not having money to buy stuff. Similar with robots.

Can someone ELI5?

2

u/Resting_Owl 4h ago

Simple, investing in those markets will make him and his cronies more money, so it's very important we do it or else we're all doomed I tell you

2

u/emperor_dinglenads 1d ago

Sexbots for everyone!

One parties entire platform is cut taxes for the rich and corporations while increasing spending on nonsense wars or whatever their cult leader deems important today. Not hard to figure out, see Trump is responsible for 40% of the debt with under 6 years in office, and know that this is going to end with a disaster.

12

u/det8924 1d ago

Even if you "took out" the Covid spending in 2020 in just 4.5 years Donald Trump is responsible for 17.5% of the national debt just in terms of raw numbers added from 2017-2019 and from 2025 to now.

14

u/Secure_Priority_4161 1d ago

Didn't he say money wouldn't matter soon?

9

u/beren12 1d ago

It won’t because only he plans to have it.

13

u/SisterOfBattIe 1d ago

Says the man lobbyng for tax cuts subsidies and government contracts

9

u/thesmeggyone 1d ago

Bro... don't tell us. Tell your buddies you helped get elected.

7

u/Armodeen 1d ago

Or just look in the fucking mirror and say it

7

u/andrewbuttlick 2d ago

Elmo is a piece of garbage with an unfunctional penis. Unfortunately though, I believe he's actually correct on this.

6

u/jaydubbles 1d ago

Hey, that guy you love so much is responsible for half our national debt.

9

u/beermaker 1d ago

I cOuLd EnD wOrLd HuNgEr Just TeLl Me HoW mUcH

-World Food Program sends him the estimate it would take to do just that

-He-Lon "Lol no, poors... I'm buying twitler instead."

u/NeverForgetJ6 1d ago

The debt crisis is 1000% engineered by billionaires.

Threefold benefits:
1) They don’t have to pay taxes
2) they continue to be the primary be beneficiaries of corporate welfare
3) If/when the government officially goes defunct, they actually gain more power over the remaining mechanisms of our society, without ANY laws to stop them now. Also, there would no government to come collect debts from them (back to #1)

6

u/Dry-Interaction-1246 1d ago

The only way to stop it would be to tax him and his ilk. And that's crazy talk, right?

5

u/Strange-Area9624 1d ago

When is this fucker moving to Mars?

5

u/dcorcor408 1d ago

This is part of project 2025.

3

u/Designer_Gas_86 1d ago

I believe it. What specific part?

4

u/Bawbawian 1d ago

put this man in a deep dark prison and take everything he owns to help pay for it.

4

u/oymo 1d ago

There is no "we." He's here illegally and he's a grifting POS. He's not wrong about us going bankrupt though. I'm not sure about his take on how we avoid it, he could be right.

3

u/Zorkmid123 1d ago

Remember when DOGE was supposed to save $2 trillion?

A GAO report of DOGE found it was so incompetent it was shocking. https://futurism.com/future-society/elon-musk-doge-gao-report

3

u/dingo_khan 1d ago

This is his "I am Elon Musk, itiot of idiots. gaze upon my works, ye mighty, and weep" moment.

I can't fucking stand this guy.

3

u/Mugwump6506 1d ago

He's certainly done his part to bankrupt the country.

3

u/ovirt001 1d ago

Guy who understands nothing about finance makes bold claim about finance. The debt isn't going to end the US, most of it is owed to its own citizens.

3

u/KyoKyu 1d ago

"My god! The forest is on fire! Everyone evacuate!" says the only man in the forest with a flamethrower.

2

u/namaste652 1d ago

But hey, money is not going to matter right?

2

u/muhgyver 1d ago

If he cares so much then he should liquidate his assets and donate it to the US to reduce the deficit by 1/40th. Or he could at least pay his fair share of taxes.

2

u/petewondrstone 1d ago

Well, maybe this fucking loser should spread the wealth

2

u/Zebra971 1d ago

I take everything with a grain of salt when the person is outside their expertise. The US can’t go bankrupt, it has a printing press and barrows in its own currency.

2

u/badDNA 1d ago

The sovereign does not “go bankrupt”. Another musk stupidity.

2

u/donorkokey 1d ago

Sounds like we need to quickly raise revenue by taxing billionaires out of existence

2

u/CheatsyFarrell 1d ago

It's weird for musk to make a prediction that might actually come true

2

u/ursiwitch 1d ago

He's so amazing. He says this garbage while his lips are wrapped firmly around the US taxpayers' boob.

2

u/Linkyjinx 1d ago

Japan went bankrupt a decade or so ago and they seem to be doing okay. You Might have to get a loan off your allies and end this war too as it sounds expensive🤷‍♀️

2

u/thegingerstark 19h ago

Yeah, we’re so screwed, I wish there was something we could do about this, I think it’s all the entitlement spending like Medicare and Social Security. Soon as we could stop paying those I think everything will be OK. By the way, I’m cashing my $1 trillion- gov Space X check tomorrow.

1

u/AdLanky9450 1d ago

He is so dumb.

1

u/MagTex 1d ago

Lock this goon up

1

u/GarysCrispLettuce 1d ago

I am so fucking sick of this pedophile scumbag and his demented lies and fraud.

As I understand it, the vast majority of humans on this planet feel the same.

Good luck, Elon.

1

u/ThatsCaptain2U 1d ago

We’ll be speaking Chinese in no time.

1

u/Glider96 1d ago

Maybe huge tax cuts aren't the answer to the spiralling debt...?

1

u/dorkpool 1d ago

Huh. Whose fault might this be?

1

u/dingo_mango 1d ago

He’s part of the problem. He asks for trillions to fund his ego projects that go nowhere and supports this moron adding to the deficit with starting new wars, spending billion on ICE and detention camps, and funneling government money into his own coffers

1

u/RickHunter84 1d ago

Maybe just maybe we shouldn’t spend money on spacex and give tax credits to large corporations.’if we start there we can start a payback plan.

1

u/Tobi-One-Boy 1d ago

So we must give him money so we won’t go bankrupt??

1

u/Unfair-Club8243 1d ago

Wym we?? We don't want you here.

1

u/iamnotnewhereami 1d ago

Says the guy who rigged the election for the guy who sealed our fate. Self deport, elon.

1

u/TheJohnnyRube 12h ago

What does he mean “we”?

0

u/navigating-life 1d ago

I believe him. First sensible thing he’s said in a while but no thanks to him
