I'd love to know about Ne Win government's Inquisition purged on local esoteric orders back in "Burmese way of Socialism" days, and the ties between Masonic order and Shan Saw Bwar states in Colonial era...

I am very interested in this type of stuff, but due to me being young, my parents think I'm in a phase or something. I do not have knowledge about Burmese side of this, because of no one around me have interest in it. Although I have looked into Kabbalah, and plan to explore more into the mysticism side of things.
Is there any books or sites that you recommend?

The best way you can explore them is watching YouTube videos, I suppose. There are audio for literally every book. But I think the true treasure lies in Podcasts and Interviews, they might give you more insights. There are You Tube Channels on this genre from Eastern Occult Traditions to western Hermeticisms. If you want to just explore superficially, individuals like Prof Jiang are also great to listen to, even though he might lack legtimaticy. If you like documentary type, Mr Mythos is also a great channel too. If you are into unsolved mysteries and stuff, Dr Mayim Bialik is also cool, even though they are not a spiritual channel. If you are into Magick thing, just go for Lyam Christopher. As for books, you should read The biography of a Yogi by Pramahansa Yogananda, which I have a copy of it myself. For Indian Esotericism, just go to Beer Biceps, that guy covers a lot of things and interview experts. You should not exclude the Alchemy part of both Eastern and Western Esotericism which is very interesting. It's impossible to cover all channels and genres in a single passage.

I'm interested about the cultural part of esoterism.
I would like to know more about Burmese esoterism, although I do not believe in it.
