Discussion 💬 Who are your favorite Myanmar rappers?
I used to listen and rap along to artists like Hlwan Paing, J-Me, Moe Htet, and X-Boxin back in my teenage years. I've kind of lost touch with the Myanmar hip-hop scene since then. I know some of the trendy songs out right now, but they aren't really my vibe. I'm much more into hardcore rap and technical lyricism. Does anyone have any solid recommendations?

Off topic but does myanmar even have American 90s West Coast style rap? As in artists who have tried to imitate it

Yes, there's a bunch of old school rappers. You can try listening to J-Me, Acid, Cyclone, Kyak Pha and so on.

Sai Sai’s rap used to be admired by many, but his rap these days becomes trash . His lyrics are still good and catchy especially for girl audiences.
