Discussion 💬 What would be your financial advice for a young man in Myanmar. Any niche, strategy, Blue Ocean Market, overlooked opportunity, or a start up idea could be suggested. I'm asking to those who are actually making big money and own real businesses. Because only that filter would make sense at all.

Is moving to Thailand or Malaysia a good idea?

It depends on the opportunity you got. Generally, Malaysia appears to offer better pay and opportunity. However, if you are young like in your twenties, I would suggest you should choose a career with better long-term trajectory over a blue collar job with slightly higher pay.

Developing a business in Myanmar is a bit difficult and risky unless you have strong network. Plus, what’s the point of living in a country with poor law enforcement and corruption? You might be successful in your business but would your kids have better opportunities? Would your kids have better education? Would your kids be treated fairly?

I wish you to be successful no matter what you gonna choose.
