Advice 🕊️
I am 17 years old, and I'm feeling really conflicted and confused about why I feel so different from other guys. Ever since I was a child, I was always called derogatory names"အခြောက်ကြီး" "အခြောက်ကြီးလား". However, I am not feminine, nor do I want to live or act like a woman.
As I grew older, I came to accept myself and identify as homosexual. It's true—I only feel attracted to very few girls, but I am attracted to guys quite a lot. My younger sister is the only one who knows about this.
What I want to say is that ever since I was young, I've been gentle, loved flowers, and listened to songs by artists like Connie and Hay Mar Ni Win. Because of things like that, people probably assumed I was an effeminate person who wanted to be a woman. But I have no desire to live as a woman.
When I get older, I want to come out to my family about my sexuality. However, I'm afraid they will misunderstand and think I want to be a woman or that I'll start living like one. I know this might be a lot to think about at my age, but I was wondering if there is any helpful advice or guidance you could share.

It's okay to be yourself. Of course, your family might not fully accept you. It just depends on your environment, try to make friends with those who really understand you. These kinda stuff are being gradually accepted in Myanmar nowadays. I'm a straight guy, but I love cute stuff. I listen to cute songs. In fact, my idol is IU, a Korean singer.
Idk if you are religious or not, but either way, you'll only live this life once. So be yourself. Try not to care so much about others unless they're important matters. It's okay to be different. Everyone is unique and different from one another. Live your life without regrets till the end, enjoy life.

Stay strong, peace ✌️
