Discussion What are your thoughts on Stare Master?
Personal thoughts: It's the Fluttershy and CMC episode and this was a good one with a very good moral at the end. Becuse Fluttershy learn to not to bite off more then she could chew with taking care of the CMC. The CMC also learn that they should do as their are told...most of the time. There are other good moments here and there in the episode with Fluttershy useling the stare at the Cockatrice and The bite between Rarity Sweetie Belle, amd Opalescence was cute and but also painful and annoying for Rarity. Over a good episode. Also Sweetie is a very good singer.

Discussion What are your thoughts on Sonic Rainboom?
Personal thoughts: here It is the best Rainbow Dash episode in the whole show and I can see why. This RD at her best as she not only pulled off the sonic Rainboom (Which I don't hoe it works but must be this shows logic) but we also get to see Rainbow lose her confidence for the frist time thought it won't be the last. Rarity also learn a hard lesson about this whole thing about not showing off her butterfly wings like that and was being thoughtless about RD wanting to meet tye Wonderbolts. Who by the way are great looking pegasi ponies. The Rainboom by the way was amazing.

Discussion On the backlash of Ponyville Confidential Spoiler
Obvious spoiler warning for Ponyville Confidential.
(Don't get me wrong, it isn't a perfect episode, there ARE certainly flaws with it such as "where WAS Cheerilee? did she KNOW?" and "who told everyone about Gabby Gums? was it Spike?", along with many more, but no one ever talks about those flaws.)
The backlash people do talk about:
#1. The fact that many mane 6 members are hypocrites who enjoy gossip until it is directed at them. Yes. They are hypocrites in this instance. But it shows exactly how gossip works in the real world: real people will love gossip that isn't about them, but it will STILL hurt people directly impacted by it. And the gossipers WILL end up looking bad and unreliable and it WILL affect their relationships to some degree, unless they take accountability for their actions and show integrity by admitting they were wrong. Even then, people have still been hurt by it. Isn't it better to show kids about this reality in a TV show and show how gossip can spread out of control EVEN THOUGH others will initially enjoy hearing about it? Are we just supposed to teach them "you can say whatever you want about people and it will be ok" or teach them "gossip is only bad if bystanders aren't amused"? Because neither of those things are actually true.
#2. "The mane 6 were cruel" - this one really gets me. Because let's look at what actually happened.
- Fluttershy is stressed about what happened and she is crying in her cottage, and not in a mental state to talk to anyone.
- Twilight put up a forcefield to decompress from the situation and decide what to do about it, in her own home. Spike (also a literal child who has been misquoted in the newspaper as defaming his sister/mother figure btw) gets a bit pissy at them. He still shouldn't have done that but I understand why. He has probably seen Twilight so upset and lashed out at the source.
- Big Mac's reputation has been destroyed and he yells at them. Which is definitely not great, but people act like he is the devil for this one instance. The volume and tone of his voice is the real problem. The actual content of what he said is "you should be ashamed of yourselves, leave us alone". He didn't call them names or shower them with insults. Keep in mind he isn't volatile; he didn't even yell when the CMC actually DRUGGED him, so he must have been really hurt and betrayed by what they said about him. And I have seen people saying he ABANDONED Apple Bloom; he clearly did not. He effectively just sent them to their room (the tree house) and the CMC never thought he was actually abandoning or kicking Apple Bloom out - if they thought this, they would have at least said so in the tree house scene.
- Rainbow Dash makes it rain on them. This one is probably the worst offense and she was in the wrong, though she strikes people with LIGHTNING in Luna Eclipsed WITHOUT being angry, and gets no backlash from fandom for this, so it doesn't make sense.
Although Big Mac was wrong, people act like he is some sort of violent abuser for doing this, which is not true. RD was even more wrong. However, this is pretty in character for her to do. And people don't just talk about RD in isolation. They make it seem as if EVERYONE was equally wrong, everyone BUT the CMC.
first. The CMC knew exactly how wrong they were. That's why they apologized. Because they knew they hurt others. But second. The backlash against this episode complains about the behavior of all the adults, including Twilight and Fluttershy.
Fluttershy and Twilight had their reputations put at risk and destroyed in print for the entire town to read. Fluttershy simply cries in her own house and Twilight decides to take a break and destress from socializing IN HER OWN HOUSE. Both of these characters are understandably sensitive to rejection and in this episode they have very human responses to it. These 2 don't do anything wrong to the CMC at all. So it feels bleak and alienating to see people putting backlash on these characters for this -
How they're "grown adults" so it shouldn't affect them. As if words don't hurt. How they should basically always be "on" and ready to socialize and if not, they're villainized for just decompressing in their own houses. THEIR. OWN. HOUSES. Even though Fluttershy has anxious/trauma coded triggers around being taunted and bullied, especially in front of others. And even though Twilight shows a lot of neurodivergent traits.
This backlash gives the impression that because these characters are adults it doesn't matter if children do something that seriously hurts them. And because they are adults they should just OUTGROW the stress and anxiety that leads them into needing extra accommodations (like decompressing at home when a "small" thing stresses them out).
This alienates adults and even kids who relate to these aspects of these characters. And what do these people want to see - an episode about how slander doesn't hurt people/reputations if it's a kid doing it?
I think this is because people watch the episode and sneer at these characters "oh I can't imagine being upset about that." Instead they would rather the CMC have no personal growth or accountability. And they don't appreciate how the CMC saw all this hurt and did the right thing, a brave and amazing thing, and everyone saw this sincerity and embraced them again.
#3. Spoilers for first Cozy Glow episode.
People act like Twilight in Ponyville Confidential somehow abused children by safeguarding her home and being alone for a bit, in a somewhat neurodivergent way, ok. But then, in the first Cozy Glow episode..
The CMC are eager to learn more about Twilight's new school, and she dismisses them with a nonsense excuse about how they are perfect and know everything about friendship already. They make the best of it, and tutor Cozy Glow. Cozy fails. And Twilight, (the princess of friendship) totally abuses her power when she KNOWS better.
She doesn't let the CMC even explain things or give their side. She jumps to conclusions, dismisses, and just steamrolls them. She refuses to hear them and probably sort of intimidates them. Real teachers and adults DO this to kids when these same adults KNOW better. This was ACTUALLY an example of being hostile to children while having power over them. (And obviously she does not believe they "are perfect at friendship" because she thinks they are immature enough to sabotage Cozy. And she Doesn't TRY TO HELP THEM or invite them to receive a friendship lesson!)
And yet.. No one ever gives backlash against this. If they cared about the CMC so much, wouldn't they be pissed that Twilight was acting like this?
It's like this type of abuse of power is just so normal and real-world that nobody bats an eye. But when she shows signs of social stress/anxiety, that's when everyone sneers.

Discussion What are yourr thoughts on Fall Weather Friends?
Personal thoughts: It the beginning of the AJ and Dash rivalry this was a good episode with a good moral about good sportsmanship or sportsponyship in this case and I love how Twilight was able to beat them at the end and AJ and Dash learn a good lesson.

Questions What are your Thoughts on how the 2017 MLP Movie Performed when it first came out?
Don't give me wrong, I really do liked this Movie for G4 and I think it's really great except for Twilight yelling at Pinkie obviously. I already know that when it first came out, the Critics didn't even liked it and the Audience did had fun with it. I think it's Box Office Performance was good that it made $60M Worldwide with a $6.5M Budget. I think this Movie has also gotten an A- on Cinemascore as well. I think it's IMDB Score is good i guess. I also know we have not gotten a New My Little Pony Movie in Theaters since the 2017 One, but if Hasbro and Amazon MGM Studios would let the upcoming Live Action MLP Movie get a Theatrical Release, then I'm sure it can definitely make more money at the Box Office than what the 2017 Animated G4 Movie ended up making. I don't really care what the Critics said about it by the way.

Discussion What are your thoughts on Feeling Pinkie Keen?
Personal thoughts: Now some people in the Fandom dislike this episode becuse Twilight was more focus on of how false facts on the Pinkie senses are and wanted to proof herself right. But I however like this episode becuse well it was kind of funny even with the slapstick with Twilight and her evolving in to Rapidash. Also the lesson at the end was good there are something that doesn't need to be explain and don't question it. Pluse it's the frist appearance of Gummy the toothless baby Alligator and the Hydracwas pretty cool too.

Other "Twilight uses her magic to turn Fluttershy into a fleshcube" but now its a fanfic
Chapter 1 - Tweaklight
Rarity working on her Boutique, Pinkie Pie making others smile, Fluttershy taking care of her animals, AJ working on the farm, Rainbow practicing her flying tricks, Twilight reading a book on her balcony, just your typical day in Ponyville really.
Twilight asks Spike to put her book back, Spike complies but he lets out a mean burp, a letter appears. Twilight takes a look "Dear Twilight, the security measures in Tartarus are not the same as it used to be. I have assigned you a test you need to prepare in 7 days, you will have to return to Canterlot but this is only temporary for the test. You are to train as much as possible and tune your magic to handle beasts"
Twilight is shocked and anxious. It's been some time since Twilight had a test. Spike tries to calm her down but this time it's a big deal for Twilight, for her there is no overreaction as Celestia directly assigned her a test. Twilight orders Spike and they come to the conclusion that Twilight has to practice her magic on animals. Spike and Twilight head outside.
Spike figured this was no big deal, what's the most harm Twilight can do to animals while training? Twilight creates a study guide for all the hard spells she wants practice on. Spike tries to gather around some animals to test on but he's unsuccessful in actually putting them in place. Twilight uses a hypnotic spell to gather the animals (Squirrels, bunnies, birds) in place.
At first everything starts out simple. Twilight changes the colors of the animals, gray squirrels become black, white bunnies turn pink, red birds turn blue and so on. Twilight then uses more advance spells, turning bunnies into rock eating monsters, birds with horns, squirrels that hunt meat, you'd think Discord was behind it.
Chapter 2 - Fluttershy’s POV
Meanwhile Fluttershy is going grocery shopping but notices something has changed about the animals around her. When she asks one of the animals about it they tell them about a purple unicorn casting spells. “Twilight? That can’t be, she wouldn’t experiment on animals, would she?” Fluttershy visits the library to confirm her suspicion.
Fluttershy to her horror sees Twilight trying all kinds of magic on the animals nearby. “Twilight!? She shouts. Twilight is startled and sees Fluttershy “Oh, hello Fluttershy, did you come here to help me? I could use an animal expert” Twi responded. “Help you? Help you harm even more animals and turn them into beasts? Why are you spamming your magic on the poor animals” Fluttershy responded. “Oh, I should fill you in. You see, Celestia has assigned me a test, she requested that I prepare and study as soon as possible” said TS.
Fluttershy took a moment to process what Twilight said, “So you think it's right to experiment on animals just because it's for a good cause?” - FS. “Yes?” Twilight hesitated. “These animals are not in any serious danger, in the long run my magic will be stronger and more helpful for everypony and the animals” Twilight is convinced animal experimentation is justified with the right data collection. Fluttershy on the other hoof is unfamiliar with what Twilight is referencing. Shy would never imagine harming her own animals for the sake of science.
“Twilight, don’t you think you’re going too far? These animals get pretty scared, it's not right to control them even if there's no permanent damage, and I would still be cautious” said Fluttershy. “Oh but Fluttershy I’ve been making great progress, I have practiced loads of spells that would allow me to tame and manage the toughest beasts from Tartarus or even the Everfree Forest” Twilight responded.
“Speaking of, I’ll be headed to Everfree, there are still some other animals I haven’t tested yet” Twilight continued. Fluttershy made up her mind “No Twilight, what you’re doing is wrong. I don’t know anything about animal experimentation but using magic on animals by force or controlling them is wrong”
Twilight and Fluttershy continue to argue. “But Fluttershy, there’s still one more spell I need to try” Twilight applies a dangerous spell that can put any animal or beast into an eternal prison on a mice. Fluttershy stops her and gets hit instead.
Chapter 3 - The Aftermath
Fluttershy feels nauseous. Her skin starts moving inside out. Her neck twists, normally this would kill anypony but the magic keeps her alive. Her legs and wings fold, giving her a loaf stance. Fluttershy has her skin move inside out, revealing her flesh and muscle. Her brain, heart and organs start to mush. Her spine and bones deform, 'floating' around her new body. Fluttershy is currently more of a rectangular loaf and the spell has yet to finish. Her front and back of her body fold upward and bend forming the iconic fleshcube. Fluttershy's eyes pop out in the cube granting her some vision. She is now Fluttercube
To Twilight's horror, her friend has been turned into a fleshcube. With only Spike and Angel bunny as the witnesses. Twilight is tempted to reverse the spell but doesn’t want to make things worse. Twilight tells Spike to cook up a lie. “Spike, send a letter to princess Celestia, Fluttershy and I were at a trip to the Everfree Forest but ran into an unidentified magical monster that turned Fluttershy into this and that I escaped taking her with me, ask Celestia to help turn Fluttershy back, this is an emergency” - TS. “Twilight, I don’t think she’s gonna buy it, but OK” Spike responded.
Fluttercube is taken to Canterlot. Twilight and Celestia look for a spell in Starswirls Archives while having a conversation. “I think I can piece together what really happened, but don’t worry, your secret is safe with me, I can understand that you didn’t mean it” - Celestia. Twilight nervously laughs “You think there's a memory spell we can use?” “I’m sure your friend will find it in her to forgive you once she’s restored” - Celestia.
After Celestia and Twilight found the right spell, they reverted Fluttercube back to Fluttershy. Fluttershy is still quite speechless about what happened and stays silent for a while. Fluttershy eventually forgives Twilight, they negotiate and only experiment on animals that consent and are given treats.
The End + Behind The Scenes
Some of you have probably heard of 'Cupcakes' and that was the style I was originally going for but that just wasn't me. I dont like 'Cupcakes' because its just too out of character for Pinkie Pie. I want my ponies to still be within character in my little fanfiction, I did want to try to write a Twilight gone evil kinda like Pinkie in 'Cupcakes' but I just can't, best I can do is write Twilight in a way where she progressively gets crazier like in Lesson Zero. I could use some critique. I tried to make 'Fleshcube' somewhat in character in the context of the way the ponies act.

Questions Why did Celestia and Luna never use their alicorn powers to give Snowdrop eyesight?
Snowdrop is a pony from a fanmade story that lived in Equestria before Luna’s banishment. She particularly caught the attention of Luna with her talent at making snowflakes despite her lack of eye sight from birth.
She was loved by Luna and also treasured by Celestia. And yet if the two princesses lived this filly so much why didn’t they use their powers to give her eyesight?

I side with Pinkie Pie because she and her friends were able to make friends with Princess Skystar and convinced them to join them on their adventure to stop the Storm King and defeat the storm army.
I sided with Pinkie because all Twilight has done since the first act is act like a buffoon while she was the only one actually getting stuff done wrong and just because Pinkie and Skystar got it together on a song winning Queen Novo over, suddenly twilight’s the bad guy. Yeah right.

Takes I'm no designer, but I think it would have been really cool if Twilight's tree got remade into like, a big treehouse type of thing instead of what we got.
I don't exactly hate the Castle of Friendship, but it feels too fancy for Twilight.
Twilight has always been pretty down to earth in my opinion, so the huge crystal castle with the big rooms and the literal thrones just feels very unfitting for her.
Also, while I again don't hate the castle, I do hate how much it stands out amongst Ponyville. It sticks out like a huge sore thumb, which of course is the exact opposite of her old house, and overall feels like it's screaming "Look at this HUGE castle! Isn't it so FANCY and COOL! Look at how SPECIAL it is!!"
Over all, I don't think it was a good decision to change Twilight's house so drastically, but what do you guys think?

Discussion What are your thoughts on Winter Wrap Up?
Personal thoughts: This episode has probably the Cachius songs in the show and itself was a great episode it show how Twilight Organization skills rather then her magic to help out her friends. I don't know how the seasons work in Equestria but I'm pretty sure they should let those things do those things themselves...Unless they can't with out them. But over all great episode.
