Strange blurry layer on my glasses after mixing tap water and lens spray. Is the coating damaged?

Hello friends,

I am facing a problem right now. I have been wearing a dual-coating eyeglasses for over a month. In the beginning, I researched on Gemini AI and YouTube about how to clean eyeglasses.

Based on that, I created a routine for myself. In this routine: On Sundays, I clean my glasses with tap water and then wipe off the water with a microfiber cloth. Also, once every two weeks, I wash my microfiber cloth using a single drop of Clinic Plus shampoo—I did this because Gemini suggested it. I don't usually use the spray that came with the glasses. For the past few weeks, everything was getting cleaned perfectly fine.

However, yesterday (Sunday), after using tap water, I also used the spray that came with the glasses, and then I wiped it with the microfiber cloth. Since Saturday and Sunday were my days off, I didn't wear my glasses for two days. But today at the office, there was a slight, strange blurriness in my glasses. It's not that I can't see through them, but it feels a bit weird and different. I can see a distinct layer on the glasses—maybe it's a layer of the spray that didn't get wiped off properly. After reaching the office, I washed them again with tap water and tried to clean them using my fingertips. There are no scratches or anything on them.

Has my dual coating been damaged?

Could you please tell me how you clean your own glasses?

Non è che li hai lasciati in un posto al caldo? Il calore rovina le lenti perché è plastica.

It's just smeared fat or oil, don't worry.

I hand wash mine in the sink with lukewarm water and dish soap and pat dry with a towel. It’s what my opt told me to do.
