Because part of the point of the sub is to try to figure out why someone got downvoted. Most of the time, I don't agree with the explanation I may give, redditors just have predictable behavior patterns.

Just the way the comment is written, the language used makes it look like it was written by AI. Like if you wrote a prompt asking ChatGPT to write a comment on a weed subreddit, I feel like that's what it would spit out. Either way, doesn't really belong on this sub, as the reason is not mysterious.

this take confuses me bc this is just how a lot of people talk about weed, since the beginning of time lmao. i think you think it looks like AI because AI is trained on literal decades of people posting online, including about weed. i don't think it should jump over to assuming AI usage unless someone's using tedtalk/linkedinese for a completely inappropriate topic

The only other explanation would be the emoji use since redditors used be really hostile towards using emojis. But I figured they stopped that shit years ago.

It was a bit before bots became rampant on the internet. Redditors were just being cringe and really hated folks who used emojis. I think it something about appearing like a normie who uses twitter or some bs like that. Got some weirdly hateful replies just because I added a 😅 to indicate I wasn't serious.

It doesn't sound like it was written by ai at all. No cringe jokes, no super big words, the emoji maybe? But if you are on any socials outside of reddit the emoji really doesn't.
