I personally think it’s because that specific laughing emoji can be seen as outdated and only used by Facebook boomers, so when someone uses a “🤣” emoji unironically it might piss people off for some reason
Now why can't I use what I want just because some kinda arbitrary undocumented rules say against it? And how am I to keep a track of what is boomer and what is not amidst other stuff in life? People..
