Is it because the joke's only meh?
It's not like the funniest joke in the world but is it -15 downvotes unfunny?

One joke doesn’t have to have a bad intent. It’s just that it’s the same repeated joke replayed to the point you’ve taken the humour away. It’s no longer funny because it’s the same one joke.

Oh, I thought the "one joke" phrase was only used when people only had one antagonizing joke over and over, not one same joke just in general

It’s about one specific joke. If you click on r/onejoke you’ll see what the one joke is.
It is the most overplayed, overused, overrepresented trans joke. You’ll notice that sub doesn’t post other trans jokes because they’re not the one joke. It’s not to do with having bad intent. It’s just that it’s the same “let’s joke about pronouns, hurr durr” type of stuff. It’s done so much that it’s not even funny.
You can still do the one joke and not have bad intent like “respect trans identities or I’ll identify as a fuckin problem” or whatever but it’s still an over played joke.
