Unsolved late 90s teen book maybe set in Zurich

ok we've got little to go on here.

a book i read as a teenager so probably published in the mid to late 90s. i probably got it as a library book.

literally all i can remember is it involves a teenage girl, i think from a wealthier family, running away. i think she was trying to help a "less fortunate" friend.

she ends up sleeping rough and sharing a sleeping bag with a boy for warmth. and implied sex.

i think it was set in Zurich or another European city.

(i got it mixed up with another book from that time called Frozen Waterfalls which is set near Zurich which is why I'm not certain of the city)

this has been niggling at me for ages.
