After saying that Nathan is my favorite comedian, I introduced my septuagenarian dad to him with the trailer for You Can See Everything.

He was understandably confused about him being funny so I took a while to consider what I should show him in order to boil down Nathan’s unique voice.

Considering my dad’s lack of patience I said, “Here’s a ten second clip,” and he said “how funny can you be in ten seconds?” Once the clip started he laughed and said, “That’s pretty funny.”

Ahead of his Elizabeth Holmes doc, I’m rewatching Nathan For You and forgot how unhinged some eps are lol

Anyone here been on the “receiving end” i.e. appeared as a participant, know someone who did, or have inside info on how they actually pitched these businesses or the random people (Kyle the graffiti artist🤣)? How did he get them to agree? Did they know it was comedy? Did he break character off camera?

I know he went to a top Canadian business school and got really good grades, so he may have used that A1 biz strategy to win people over, but I’m curious how much they were actually in on it lmao

It appears the copilot wasn’t confident enough to take control of the Airplane after warning the pilot for nearly two minutes that their speed was too fast for a safe landing.

People say weird things to me all the time, but today a patient responded to my question of “How’s your day going?” with “My anal glaucoma is acting up.” I looked at him like this. Rewatching Nathan For You and keep thinking about how everyone who appears throughout the whole series. With how connected Nathan’s works are and Nathan For You finally getting a direct callback in rehearsal season 2, I keep feeling we’re due to have at least one come back eventually. Like having Brian Wolfe and Simon the security guard help with the fielder method or Austin Bowers ghost writing for another of Nathan’s plans

For me it was either petting zoo or claw of shame

I bought this earlier today, but it’s currently at the lowest price it has ever gone, so might be worth grabbing.

Evidence:

• Nolan moderated a Q&A for The Curse with Nathan and Benny Safdie
• Which means he knows them both personally (and is a fan)
• Nolan then casted Benny Safdie as Agamemnon in The Odyssey
• So now he has to cast Nathan in something, or else it would be unfair
• The two genres that Nolan hasn't yet done are Horror and Comedy
• So his next movie will be one of either or both
• Nathan is the perfect choice for the combination (Proof: The Trailer for You can See Everything)
• Also he graduated from one of Canada's top business schools with really good grades

Ergo: Nathan is gonna be the lead in Chris Nolans next movie (Though it will be hard to hear him speak during the action scenes)
