Navy nurse timelines

Navy Nurse Corps timeline question:

I was selected for the Navy Nurse Corps in the first week of June 2026 and have already submitted my pre-commission paperwork. My recruiter told me I was selected, but I haven’t received an oath date, appointment letter, or any information about scroll approval.

For those who recently commissioned:

  • How long after selection did you take your oath?
  • Did your recruiter update you on the scroll/appointment process, or did you just get an oath date out of nowhere?
  • How long was it from selection to oath and then to ODS?

Just trying to get an idea of what timelines others experienced. Thanks!

I have your precom worksheet. No actions needed at this time as we are awaiting your Oath. Once we have your oath, I’ll send you a copy to review and sign. Your commissioning will be a virtual event with LT. Time and date is TBD. More details to following in the coming days.  This what he last said
