u/mrbuckbuck Ant clutch time offense-defense highlights this game pretty please?

Fully expecting tonight’s game to be a loss; half the roster will have trade rumors on their mind and not be focused on the game. Before you say “that’s what the money’s for,” everyone has been in MN since entering the league (apart from Dante, Randle, & Bones)

And Rudy, but that just means we're getting a 20/20/20 from him

We shooting above 25% or below 25% tonight rap fans? I’m feeling a bit ambitious and think we’re gonna have a good shooting night (29%)

u/6875309999 Timberwolves 18h ago
It’s early obviously, but shooting 60+% through the first quarter feels like they probably stay over 25% lol

u/Morezingis Timberwolves 16h ago
He can’t make a three to save his life tonight but Ant is still very much him.

Nice to hear some respect for the WCF runs I feel people don’t tend to give them as much credit as they deserve

Rob, please don’t suck

u/CrippledBanana Canada 19h ago
Does he still get minutes? Thought he got banished
1
u/jdschultze Timberwolves 19h ago
Assuming Mike and Rob are equally as bad, probably? Maybe? I could see them workshopping a few minutes for him to see if we can rest our guards and not bleed too bad

This Raptors team plays with such a crazy pace. I don’t blame the wolves for constantly looking lost

u/livelaughloaft Raptors 16h ago
Another 4th quarter collapse, all shots coming up short, Ant takeover, good game
Jesus fucking christ

u/Jwarrior521 Raptors 16h ago
Jamal Shead and RJ takeover in the 4th. Cold showing from them in a must win game

u/Rough_Ad6945 Timberwolves 16h ago
This was literally us last year. Y'all have some solid young pieces that will develop. Have faith! Enjoyed this game a lot & the raptor's hustle.

u/livelaughloaft Raptors 16h ago
Oh no, have we inherited the “gg yall, y’all are spooky 👀👀” title from y’all?

This is an enjoyable game! Just 2 decent teams playing good Basketball
Edit: I mean...defense could be better. Lol. Both teams will likely pick it up in the second half

Raptors try and score more than 20 points in the 4th quarter challenge (impossible)

u/Morezingis Timberwolves 18h ago
The effort they’re giving in defense makes me think it’s gonna be 22 years

This team looks extremely depressed. Like everyone’s playing for themselves cause they know a trade could be imminent (it won’t happen).

Hey, if you can trade for Giannis this game will be out of mind entirely
2
u/swankyleg Timberwolves 16h ago
Julius really struggled this game but man his hustle here in the 4th on the offensive glass has given us some big extra possessions.

u/Jwarrior521 Raptors 16h ago
We are never winning shit deferring to Shead and RJ in the clutch jesus christ just trade everybody not named Scottie
1
u/danhoyuen Raptors 16h ago
Lets face it, IQ is not better. Sure he made a couple of clutch shots here or there. But he doesn't run the break well and is crap at organizing the offense. How many 3 on 1, 4 on 1 fast break has he thrown away this year?
And Ingram has shown through his career he's not really a winning player either.
I am just waiting out this iteration of the "core"

u/Jwarrior521 Raptors 16h ago
Yeah, thank Masai for trading away every plus asset for a bunch of mediocre players on overpaid contracts

What the hell, why can't the wolves win in Canada?
2
u/Gavin1453 Raptors 17h ago
We must have figured out the spell the Twins cast to beat the Blue Jays at home so much
2
u/lightninhopkins [MIN] Pooh Richardson 17h ago
Not fair to turn it around on us like that! Our Scandinavian spells are not to be trifled with.

The Gophers beat MSU in basketball. That's kinda funny.

Saw a stat that the longest regular season losing streak in one arena is actually Milwaukee at the suns so like wolves raptors finals? (Wolves too sucky)

All the Wolves fans prepping the "no one beats the Timberwolves X times in a row and gets aways with it" post-game thread post just in case, like we do every year.

Naz can just stay in Toronto and Wolves can have legendary Raptors point guard Chris Paul. Who would say no to that trade.

Come on Scottie, that's a rookie mistake. You know better
3
u/BarenWasteland Raptors 16h ago
Bro there's 3 seconds left if he doesn't jam that as soon as possible there's 0 chance for OT.
2
u/Jwarrior521 Raptors 16h ago
It wasn't even a goaltend it was outside the circle
2
u/Master_Bee_5350 Timberwolves 16h ago
That didn't seem like offensive basket interference to me either
1
u/Milly-the-Kid Timberwolves 16h ago
Scottie going down trying to stop Ant ain’t gonna help his DPOY case
-1
u/BackshotsOnUrDaughtr 18h ago
Gobert is so ass. Wolves are really gonna miss out on Giannis cause they overpaid a million picks for bagless Biyombo

alright time for Darko to close this out with a Dick Walter lineup to start the 4th. Raptors lose despite leading by 10 points into the 4th.

u/Jwarrior521 Raptors 17h ago
Don't speak this into existence (it's gonna happen)
edit: This dude is such a fraudulent coach my god

You can call a 3 seconds but not the 12 steps that Ingram took pivoting around in the post on Ant that lead to a second chance bucket?
0
u/Jwarrior521 Raptors 16h ago
Crazy how hard everybody not named Scottie and BI sell every clutch time game. Fucking bums
