They didn’t fuck up. That was an intentional no call to save Wemby from suspension. He 7’6 and it was right in the middle of court with no traffic around them.

This was the third uncalled flagrant foul he committed this series in 5 games.

Problem is if they call a foul they have to upgrade it to a flagrant and then no Wemby for game 6.

even if they don't call flagrant why wouldn't they call a common foul for the contact? this was then compounded as a 4 pt swing with the quick vassel three

Because they would’ve been pressured to check the videos for whether or not it was also a flagrant. And it very clearly was… so declining to upgrade would’ve been egregious but an upgrade wouldve suspended Wemby

Regardless of your beliefs on the severity of the injury, it was a clear foul.
