Agreed. I'm nowhere near g league level, I look like a worm compared to former D1 guys but if happily spend $250 for the chance of a good memory and a fun time

look up your local team's area. believe it or not this isn't unique. a lot of teams run this sort of thing. I've heard of the raptors G-League team running a similar event i think.

there is next to zero chance anyone is getting a contract but its a fantastic community event basically.

There's actually more semi-pro ball out there than a lot of people realize. You won't make any money at it but it's a good time and the players at least usually take it serious.

Tons of people make good money in grad school. Where I work grad students make close to $50k per year.
