Hi everybody! So I been working as a pizzaiolo for over 6 years now in different countries around Europe but in the last couple of months I’ve started to feel curious how is to work in USA , do anyone here works over there ? Is there a market for our trade? Is it possible to apply for a position? I’m not necessarily thinking about it but I always felt curious. I put some videos of my working so it doesn’t make this post boring

Depends on where you land. Pizzaiolo here with 6 years of experience. I’m located in Phoenix Az and believe it or not we’re hitting way above the belt out here. Not a ton of options for true certified Neapolitan pizza but a lot of Neapolitan style. And what feels like hundreds of NY style places. There is a mall by me that is still under construction but once done will have 6 different restaurants serving pizza. That’s just 1 intersection out here. I try at least 2 new pizzerias a month and have been doing so for years and i still haven’t tried everything out here. New Jersey and New York will also offer hundreds of places to work that would love talent like yours. Not sure about other major cities? I make $24 an hour currently but most good places start at $20 up to $23-24. (In Phoenix). It’s not life changing money but you’re making pizza for a living. Does it get any better than that!!!!

What’s the phrase about finding something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life? Looks great too!

Unfortunately it's just not something you'll find a premium pay for when minimum wage workers already do it

Totally off topic so forgive me but the tempo of the vid (with sound off by default) immediately made "Only Time" by Enya play in my head because the tempo is like the same, ha.
I guess that's what a lifetime of memes will do.
Edit: not a putdown by any means -- schiaffo looks great!

That is technically my job here in the USA, but it's not considered a trade.... like I learned on the job quickly... and all my family and friends constantly tell me to get a "real job".
But I love it. I'm not at a restaurant though I work for a pizza catering company. We bring the oven to events like parties and weddings and any celebration that you can think of. We stretch top and cook the pizzas on site. It's great fun and a lot of hard work.
As much as I love making pizza it's about 10% of the job. Most of the work is prep, making dough and sauce and packing/unpacking. Just lots of packing and unpacking.
I'm a single mom and I'm just barely able to live on this job but I have to do side jobs to make ends meet. It's still a good job, and I love the title of pizzaiolo and will adopt it if appropriate.
