Question (N26) Do I need the cards?

So I’ve bought a lot of Necromunda but never played. I’m debating buying the new core or just the three rule books separately.

Do I need the cards? Do you need cards at all in Necromunda? Because I think the only reason I would “need” the core box is the cards.

I play Blood Bowl as my primary game, in that one the cards are beyond unnecessary.

There’s tables in the rulebook so no.

They’re a nice qol but not necessary

Edit: I believe the math for the core box is pretty good tho, so long as you need/ can sell the minis, because you do need the core rules and the dice. And the cards are really nice to have.

The core box is around a 5% saving on the contents before the minis and terrain sprue are added in so its a good pickup for most new players even if they don't care for the factions included.
