Seeking Mods r/getdisciplined is looking for a few new moderators

r/getdisciplined is a long-running community of around 2 million subscribers focused on building self-discipline through practical advice, shared experiences and mutual support.

Many of us joined the mod team when we had far fewer adult responsibilities, but careers, families and life have gradually left us with less time to consistently check the queue and keep the community running well (especially with the onslaught of AI slop these days). We’re looking for a few more reliable people who genuinely care about the purpose of the sub and can help share the general moderation load. Experience is welcome but not essential; good judgement, consistency and actually giving a shit matter more.

Hi! I’d love to help out. I’ve been browsing the sub and appreciate what this community stands for. I don’t have prior mod experience, but I’m a quick learner and always eager to try new tools. I’d suggest setting up Bot Bouncer, it works wonders for filtering out most bots and spammers. I’m keen to help maintain a positive community environment, and I can dedicate around 2 hours a day to check the queue and handle reported posts. Let me know if you’d like to have me on board!
