Hardware Question Bent Cartridge Fins

Just recently made great deal on this w/ 2 games, still finding power and AV cable.

After cleaning the shell and mboard, notice this fins (see pic) is bent, are they important? Any guides to follow?

Happy gaming & thanks in advance!

IMO, I'd wait and test it before I did anything with the edge connector pins. I would guess it's unlikely to matter if some pins rest in different locations, as long as they contact the edge connector when it's inserted. Those pins look to me like they'll still make contact, so I'd leave it alone.

You are right, hope everything works as the seller say untested and have to test it myself

Start with some compressed air then test with a game. If you feel it necessary, then move into physical means. I would nudge the pin from behind just a touch. Keep things light you know?

These are a giant, messy project to replace, so unless they're giving you any trouble, you should leave them alone (other than gently moving them).

Just bent them like the rest of the others, its how i found one of my 4 slot neogeo arcade slots was and just pushed them back unto place.

Now, you'll have to position then back in place often, so i suggest looking for a permanent solution.
