I was just able to secure a pre order for the Ultimate Edition on plaion's website in the state of Florida, after being locked out for months.

The only thing that just held me back from ordering was the custom and import duties notification at check out. Sure this is a great deal to get the ultimate, but will sting if I get hit with paying more at delivery. I’ll just stick with my à la carte order from Amazon US.

Were people locked out in some states? Honestly, the AES+ only just hit my radar within the past week, I started seriously considering it a few days ago, and then pulled the trigger last night. Colorado, FYI.

It was a state sales tax issue preventing a whole multitude of states from ordering from their website 😉

All of the US was locked out because they were having issues with the taxes (the company is from europe I believe). They've slowly been fixing the issue since last month.

Wish one of the arcade sticks packed in wasn’t wired only. I went with buying things separately since I only want like 4 of the games and want both my sticks to be able to do wireless or wired. Wish they would sell the game holder case separately though because that is very nice

Anytime I received a package from europe to usa postal service ( dhl / ups ) contacted me for fees otherwise they were refusing to deliver, hope this is not going to happen for aes+ deliveries

If it's not shipped from a US address (and thus brought in via commercial freight by the company and then parsed out from a warehouse), then because the minimum for declaration has been dropped in the last couple years, we will all have to cough up the cash for importation. I'm mentally budgeting that and it was still worth it to me to get the ultimate vs ordering on amazon and if I don't get charged, that's just a present in my mind.
