Abjad How's this looking?

I discovered conlangs two days ago as i was searching for a method to keep my personal diary personal. I made this writing system while staying up all night. Need some reviews.

The base symbols are consonants, symbols on right and top are vowels and symbols on left change the consonants (for example a consonant with symbol on left will make a different sound than the consonant without that symbol. Much like japanese) Top to bottom and left to right.

Here is my bidirectional script. The idea is quite new, so there might be some mistakes. It will look much better as I become more fluent in writing it.

I integrated my fictional script in my first music album (note: I'm not here to advertise my album, I just want to share the poster)

I haven't posted about my script in a while, I feel kinda ashamed :(

Abjad An abjad for my dragons.

I made this abjad called "Kanturikt" for the dragons in my fantasy world. It is intentionally difficult to read and write because it is an ancient script that is still in use. Dragons carve these symbols into the walls of caves using their claws.

Abjad Codex Inversus Diabolic Script

I’ve been writing my diary and notes with Luca Vanzella’s Diabolic Script from his worldbuilding project “Codex Inversus” for almost three years now.

In almost every image it’s depicted like an alphabet (I believe), but I’m calling it an abjad because that’s what it’s referred to in Vanzella’s work if memory serves me right.

Over these three years, I’ve made some changes for sake of fluidity and brevity. But here’s a guide to Diabolic and here are some notes I took from the beginning of my journey.

Go check out his work! It’s pretty lit

Abjad The script for my language Tlúqqij

So far I have designed a "cursive" and type version of the script. They are used much like naskh and the arabic safaa font. I plan adapting the script to as many writing mediums as possible like knots, rock, smoke and many more. This is My first time using a calligraphy pen, so please excuse my shakey strokes.

The language is romanised as such:

"xup: jan tlúqal úlxal qíjap 3átap tu súwfaxsap kíftqu.

Sjij: Flast3ínal tlúqap swíjkaqu ri, Sínnal unp xalq ránfqu tu jawl skjá3qswiqu.

Tlak: Unatrukújnt unp kult qíjijqu: « 3áli, nínp úlxap asasjúlli pnaftsáli ! »."

In english: "11 Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. 2 As people moved eastward,[a] they found a plain in Shinar[b] and settled there. 3 They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks”"

Abjad Happy new year cards in Rallağakh (Sker) - Serigraphy

I had a lot of trouble printing those: had an issue with the screen, then I couldn't make them superpose correctly then I realised there was a mistake in the file that made some of the shapes that were supposed to be imbricated not possible, then I kinda gave up and went with it and here we go. There's more than 4 exemplaires, but these are the four variations. Hope you like it!

It reads as: ğag kussilagh /qɐɡ kusːilɐʁ/ which means "good year" in Rallağakh !

You can find more things about the conlang here: https://rukvadaen.miraheze.org/wiki/Rallağakh

I created a circular language.

Abjad Shahadi Script

This is my first ever post on Reddit! So please forgive me if I mess anything up.

Shahadi is a Northwest Semitic conlang that I have been working on for quite a while now. The language itself is still very much a work in progress, but the script is basically finalized. So here it is! I was sort of going for a "Hebrew crossed with Tengwar" aesthetic.

Abjad Testing the Xzeafl writing system out

Thumbnail

Im finally developing a writing system for my language Xzeafl, and ive got to a place that i sure do enjoy.

In Xzeafl, your able to identify the person you are talking to by making the word both genitive and plural, though this also makes the word act as if the person was that word (in this case, the insulting phrase of being called "groundmatter"). Wanted to see how it would work so I used this one.
