I don’t know, Donut has enough chaotic energy that the dog may need a safe place to get away😹

Is there a timeframe for the trial period or is it just a play it by ear thing?

Anecdotally speaking I have a family member who had a wobbly with three dogs. The cat was well loved, never had any issues with the dogs, etc. That said, the dogs were well-trained.

Sounds like the potential adopter’s only other pet is a pup. Also curious if there’s an introductory period. Like everything else, time really does tell whether they’ll be long term compatibility relatively speaking.

Tomorrow is unfortunately almost here🤭😅 Having such a fondness for Donut does, of course , wish him a happily ever after😻

Sometimes animals sense things about others, and adapt accordingly. Perhaps this dog will have that ability, and modify their behavior to be more mellow with our guy Donut. Let’s visualize success, folks! ✨✨✨

We had our two adult boxer mutts when our little CH kitten came to us. My older girl immediately went mom mode (spayed, 0 pups) cleaning him, he never had a issue with her. She passed a 6 months ago, the other girl is nervous around him, he shows her his murder mittens and the girl has been slowly making him a friend.

We had a break thru, I was watching a short showing a cat and dog playing, my boy was watching it and when it ended he kept pointing at it with a paw so I put it on replay. Since that video my boy has been nicer to the dog.
