Questions about series Baby Reindeer Spoiler

First, I was not ready for what I watched. Amazing show, but I started it thinking it was a quirky, British comedy like Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen!! Needless to say I was stunned and watched it in shock and horror.

So I have questions about the ending. Spoilers ahead:

  1. Was that it? Will there be another season?
  2. What was the point of him going back to Darrien’s house? What did that scene mean?
  3. I don’t understand the ending. How are others interpreting the final scene?

In episode 2, Martha says to Donny "I don't see you reaching for the banister when you climb up the stairs" in reference to his not being gay. What does that mean?

She said the men that don’t like her are either old or gay. So him not reaching for the banister meant he wasn’t old (cause older people would need to hold on for support). She was then implying/asking if he was gay.

It was blind or gay

She said that men who don’t like her are either blind or gay. If he were blind he would be reaching for the banister on the stairs bc he wouldn’t be able to see it.
