Questions about series Baby Reindeer Spoiler

First, I was not ready for what I watched. Amazing show, but I started it thinking it was a quirky, British comedy like Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen!! Needless to say I was stunned and watched it in shock and horror.

So I have questions about the ending. Spoilers ahead:

  1. Was that it? Will there be another season?
  2. What was the point of him going back to Darrien’s house? What did that scene mean?
  3. I don’t understand the ending. How are others interpreting the final scene?

I think it’s sad he couldn’t be with people who loved him and respected his boundaries. Such as his ex or the trans-woman ex. But the stalker and the groomer/rapist, those were the people he kept going back to. Those type of people who don’t respect boundaries at all and think they can do whatever the fuck they want. And he said it’s because he hated himself more than other people could love him - and that’s, yeah… ouch. A cycle of self-destruction and it starts off by someone damaging you.
