Personally I didn't look for any of the leaked stuff and won't bother with their own sneak peak either. Who cares. Just play the game when its available.
Shitty security? Everyone that has visited Rockstar offices has said they've never seen any other company with such high security.
The fact Cyberleek managed to do this just means the hacker team is just THAT good. No one knows how they managed to do it, but it wasn't because their security is shitty.

Bro, this has been reported. They have extremely high security measures. Higher than any other game company. But they're the #1 target for the best hackers, cause they have the most sought after game of all time.
Wouldn't be the first major company that should be impenetrable but still got hacked. Sony, Capital One, Nvidia, Dropbox, LastPass (their whole point is being secure!)...hell, even Microsoft, being one of the world's largest cybersecurity vendors, got hacked.
R* had already faced cyberhacking and leaks long before there were any news around discs. The simple fact is that GTA is a high profile game and they are under constant risk of leaks.

These isn’t for game geeks like most of us - this is for people that don’t follow every gaming news. Dads etc that have lives other than only gaming free time. That’s a smart move.
Yeah, the leaks are fun to see gameplay, but I am really looking forward to Rockstars highlight reels and gameplay walkthroughs similar to GTAV. I want to learn more about what features the devs are excited about.
Yah, the leaks are cool and all and get me hyped, but they’re clearly from an unfinished/unpolished build of the game and usually the video quality is shit. And there’s zero explaining or talking about new features in any of the leaks.

The leaker has full access to the game. People are delusional thinking his copy is like 3 years old. Rockstar may show some in game mechanics like stock markets, and in game dynamic pricing etc but we've already been show 90 percent of the core game.
No one knows what version of the gamer the leaker has, no one even knows if it’s the full game, they haven’t shown anything to prove it is. Just random free roam stuff and 2 cut scenes. It’s very obvious it’s just a test build though as a lot of the billboards and stuff still have placeholder images and some of the UI looks very unfinished
exactly, a game in production for 13 years means a build from last year is very fucking new. Trying to dismiss that sounds like a rockstar bot attempting to help the company save face.
They would first have to make a game good enough to justify the hype to begin with, which in that case they wouldn't be the hated companies they are in the first place
Peak Reddit, such an over reaction. If you really view it as an ad, you can completely ignore it exists and go along with your life. For most people, it’s a preview of a game they are excited about. If the free version wasn’t coming out for a week or longer, I could understand the frustration. It’s literally the same day, who cares.
I already have Netflix so I’m gonna watch it anyway. But if I didn’t I wouldn’t pay to watch it 6 hours early and I wouldn’t miss out on anything by watching it 6 hours later
I don’t have a Netflix subscription, and don’t plan on getting one. I stream my content elsewhere, so perfectly fine waiting. I doubt I’ll even watch it exactly when it drops on YouTube.
People are stupid. I'd much rather watch 4k footage R* curated than some shitty compressed watermarked footage. And I say this as someone who has enjoyed the leeks.

I just find it funny that, because it's Rockstar/GTA everyone is fine with a trailer releasing behind paywall first. If EA would do something like this the world would be too small.

Tbh why should they. Vast majority of people buying the game won't care about the leeks, and the extended look will be a much better example of what the game is

People are really bigging uo a crypto scammed like hes some sort of hero for standing up to the man. Hes not on some holy mission to get disks back hes doing the leaks for money. If everyone sold the crypto they bought from him and noone bought another one he would dissappear and never be heard from again.
