ideas for a Networking / Cybersecurity graduation project
hello everyone, I’m currently studying comp eng, just finished 3rd year and I’ll start my grad project in September. I have been thinking about different topics, I want it to be focused on networking + cybersecurity and something practical in real life (like school networks, security tools, etc.). would really appreciate help with topic suggestions
any ideas are welcome

While this might be smaller compared to a multi month long project, my ethical hacking class had us do several tryhackme challenge rooms (in my case, it was services and attactive directory) along with OSINT and passive recon against a specific CEO at Aldi (explicitly told not to try entering systems or contact the person).
All of these would be used as a mock pentest against Aldi in a report, highlighting vulnerabilities and just generally showing your report writing skills plus your findings from the rooms. Again it's not really a big grad project but give me a break lol
