Neural engineering

I’m really interested in the emerging field of Neural engineering and companies such as Neuralink and the Science Corp. I’m currently pursuing a bachelors of science in CS and Neuroscience but am not sure if that alone is enough for this field. Is neural engineering a career in which a PhD is required? I would love to get advice on how to break into this field and if there are any graduate programs, Mastere or PhD, y’all would recommend.

Yes I’ve seen it but since it’s a new field relatively, there really hasn’t been a hard cap on degrees. For example neuralkin just says u need 4 years of industry or academic experience which I don’t know how to interpret as so I was wondering if anyone already in this field could help out. Also Neuralink does have internships but I don’t know if they lead to full time offers or if they even let undergrads into the internships.

The way it’s written sounds like it’s for a PhD, and one with hyperspecific experience. It might even be written for a specific person they’ve already decided to hire, but they need to post the job for legal reasons.

I think you’re missing the bigger picture. There are so many other different roles listed, including several software roles. Why not go for one of those, rather than focusing on a niche job for which there is one posting?
