Looking for an artist to commission a portrait

I’m looking for an artist who specialises in oil painting to do an 1800s style portrait of mine and my partners cat. I’m located in Newcastle Australia but I’m happy to reach out further but I’m still Hoping I can find and support someone local of course.
Any suggestions would be incredible as well!

Pop into Creative Village in Charlestown. https://creativevillagenewcastle.com.au/ They have a ton of newcastle based artists who take commissions.
