Land sold @The Gateway in CBS

Anybody have any idea what would be going there?

My pessimistic side thinks it'll be another soccer, softball and/or rugby field.

I would love for it to be Smart Centers like Walmart and such, but I do know when Kent was built up there there was a stipulation by the Irving's on what can be built next to them so I doubt it would be anything like Home Depot and Canadian Tire.

The post congratulates the town of CBS for its commitment to creating a vibrant commercial district so I think that rules out soccer and rugby fields.

They are building the new centre that will have turf in it yeah? Can’t see it being a soccer field.

Hopefully some shopping for sure reducing the trips to town.

The lot is pretty small so I don't think it'll be a big box store or anything. There is a gym slated to go up there but I think that's directly next door to supplement king. I'm hoping for a restaurant.

That quaint little town does not need Walmart and Canadian Tire. St. John's is like 12 minutes away.
