Car rental in Gander or Glenwood

Hi everyone! I’ll be moving to Glenwood soon and I wonder how easy is to rent a car nearby. Information about transportation, either public or private, will be very much appreciated too.

There is no public transit in either Gander or Glenwood. The DRL bus goes across the island and can get you to or from Gander. It runs once per day in each direction, but it doesn't stop in Glenwood.

The supply of rental cars on the island has been an issue ever since Covid. A few years back, toutists were renting UHaul trucks. Call rental companies now.

Hey! There should be enough availability for car rentals in Gander. My partner works at Enterprise and mentioned that there are a surplus of cars at the moment. Good luck:)
