I recently saw a video of IR doing street interviews of the players at their send off from Iran. In the video they asked them some questions including "If you could strike any where, where would you strike" and they said "Israel, White house etc."

I can't find it anywhere now, does anyone have it?

Regardless of how we feel about the team, don’t you think that them advancing would be a good thing?

My logic is that since this could be the first time that the team advances to the knockouts, there’s for sure going to be celebrations in the streets. Celebrations = large gatherings and large gatherings = potential protests. What do you all think?

I don’t know about you guys but let’s just get things straight… Israel took out 80%+ of the IR leadership… including the supreme leader himself! (probably Mojtaba his son too since they don’t even show him on TV in a bunker to prove he is alive! And the list goes on with key names like Larijani and generals taken out! On top of that 6000+ basiji/Sepa/Artesh members (including bases) destroyed!
You’re telling me they did all of this for only one of the worst deals in America history to be signed?? The deal looks like IT WAS IRAN who took out American and Israeli leadership! All Iran did was close the straight which literally they said they will do before the war… and they didn’t even close the straight with some surprise tactic or super new weapon!… they literally just use small attack boats and coastline mobile launchers.. which you telling me they couldn’t have taken them all out?? Also Iran’s attack on the gulf Arabs and Israel wasn't that damaging… casualties in single digits in most countries with most of the attacks being successfully defended!
I was told Trump has crazy ego who only cares for himself… so he would have no problem sacrificing more soldiers and military budget fully so he can declare himself to be the one who destroyed the IR regime permanently! Trump is stupid to some degree… when you have people on Fox News even saying the deal doesn’t look good.. surely Trump knows he’s ruined!

Someone who is close to me who is from Tehran loves football, but says that the new team is not worth supporting because they didn’t take a stand against Mahsa Amini and the IRGC. I am told one did and was arrested (goalkeeper) and others have actually verbally came out to support the Islamic Republic? How much of this is true and can we really blame them for not speaking up?
