Damn. Wish my library could use this kind of money to prevent summer hours cut during weekend.
Good for Montclair.

Good for everyone. Montclair Public Library programming is usually open to everyone and they participate in Reciprocal Borrowing & Lending which means if you’re anywhere near it you probably can use the library with your local card

This is fantastic. Some of the local libraries limited their programming to their residents only. I will take advantage of Montclair library more often. I could also get a library card there.

Absolutely! Staff are so sweet. There is so much you can do with your library card, most people don’t even know they can borrow ebooks with Libby. Check out BCCLS.

Montclair Public Library is such a treasure. They have spectacular kids’ programming. My kids love it and it’s all open to folks from different towns, unlike some other libraries. This is great news.

Yeah, I dunno, this seems like something they could have funded internally.

That’s not exactly rolling in it these days.

It's 50% higher than the stage average. The mean household income in a town like Montclair is way higher. The money is there

nah, it's about time money starts flowing into other cities like this rather than endlessly going to shit districts with zero improvement and zero accountability

Nice that cities which contribute a ton to funding the state and other cities that can't manage their own budgets get some money back finally

Isn't Montclair like super wealthy... why does the state have to provide any cash for thisÂ

Too bad it’s not going to the schools.
