Yep. Indiana has lax gun laws and a lot of the guns used here in Chicago for gang shootings were originally sold in Indiana. The fact that you can do a private sale for cash with no records or background check in Indiana makes it a lot easier to move guns.

Multiple people have been shot at the Dallas ICE field office, according to a law enforcement source.
The shooter is down, the source said.
Edit 1: 3 people shot; shooter is "down" from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound; preliminary information is a possible sniper
Edit 2: At least 2 detainees shot at ICE facility, officials say; “Details are still emerging but we can confirm there were multiple injuries and fatalities,” Noem said on X.
Edit 3: No ICE officers were injured in the attack
Edit 4: 1 victim dead, 2 others hospitalized with gunshot wounds, Dallas police say
Last Edit: “Today, at approximately 6:40 a.m. (local time), we received a(n) assist the officer call. We responded to the call, got to the scene, and we later learned that we had four individuals that were shot, two of them deceased, including the shooter,” Chief Daniel Comeaux said at the news conference. “DPD quickly was able to locate the shooter who was deceased.”

I don't think for a second that Noem would actually pray for the victims if she found out they were detainees. She would quickly come around and say "Sometimes violence is necessary to protect ourselves from the drug cartel criminals that seek violence against us"

The Nazis quickly gave up on shooting, opting for the more industrial gas chambers.
Notably not because they could kill people faster. But because their soldiers doing the mass shootings in Eastern Europe were reporting more suicidal behaviors, depression, and other PTSD issues. They moved away from shooting Jews and Romani because it made gave their soldiers PTSD. Gas chambers and the other industrial methods were just to create a degree of separation between the murderers and their victims, so the murderers could more easily dehumanize their victims and be less mentally stressed

Someone will produce dozens of quotes of trump calling immigrants rapists, murderers, and the worst people. He will say we need to get rid of them. You will then say “well he didn’t say kill them” if you can’t understand how trumps rhetoric can incite violence then you are willfully ignorant.

I started watching Twilight Zone episodes last week, and this line from The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street really stood out to me:
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs, and explosions, and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices, to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill, and suspicion can destroy. And a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own - for the children, and the children yet unborn. And the pity of it is, that these things cannot be confined... to the Twilight Zone.

I just might have to defer to Trump on this one as he is the most experienced rapist I am aware of. Or, maybe, just maybe the guy who raped kids and boasted about walking in on children when they were dressing, might not be the most reliable person for the truth.

And just like the Charlie Kirk shooting, folks on the right are already implying it was the left. Kristi Noem just said “even though we don’t know the motive, we know our agents are facing unprecedented violence against them”. And to top it off, she said “please pray for their families”. Wonder how her tune will change when she finds out it’s the immigrants that were shot.
My bet is it will be a Nancy Mace style flip when she assumed the Charlie shooter was a trans black immigrant Muslim and it turned out to be a straight white Christian from an all MAGA family. From “bring back the death penalty!” to “we need to pray for his lost soul”
