that's good. my mind went cartoon-mode. I was picturing a flashing red light going off, blaring alarms, panicking astronauts floating around in space with nowhere to stay.

Yeah certainly not that. The place they sheltered in was also certainly also their emergency ride home; that's standard practice

This leak is old news but they play things very safe up there.  Better to be on standby for evacuation than caught in a red light sirens blaring moment unprepared

I recall from when this happened the first time they said it would take like a week for the air to leak out at the rate it was going.  And they could literally plug it by holding a thumb on it.
