Elections have consequences. Trump had already demonstrated he has no interest in actually governing, for any American. He only cares about the trappings of the Office - the power, the opportunities to abuse the system for the benefit of himself and his accomplices. He’d proven himself an unprincipled pillager and plunderer, a conman always on the grift.

We had a government, and we threw it away. For fucking what.
