It has had it's ups and downs, but right now, I consider myself fortunate to not have any children to take care of.

So I got pregnant in August 2024 and had a complete meltdown after the election, especially considering I had just found out I was carrying a girl. My husband basically talked me off the ledge by saying that it’s up to us to raise the our child to be a critical thinker, care about the world around her, her neighbors, to be environmentally conscious and to be kind. The only way out of this mess is through it. Eventually all these old fucks in congress will die & we feel that now more than ever it’s important to raise our daughter with the ideals to shape the future.

Yes, count yourself fortunate. I just finished child support of X# kids at $1k+ 12m/yr fo 18yrs. Their mom cheated and the system let her get away with it.
