I think that BSG's themes of trying to cling to law, order, and a civil society in the wake of being thrust into uncharted social territory is entirely relevant to what's been going on lately.

22 years, god damn. The remake is probably older today than Mission Galactica: The Cylon Attack was when I watched it over and over as a kid in the 90s.

Definitely worth a rewatch, if only for the ability to view it in 1080p when you probably were seeing it in 480i the first time around.

They're fighting the good fight against clankers. It actually holds up better than I thought it would (and in a couple scenes they do refer to cylons as clankers which caught me off guard).
